WHAT DO I GET FOR MY MEMBERSHIP?
In addition to being a part of a coalition of community-based charter schools, the Oregon Coalition of Community Charter Schools is here to provide your school support and technical assistance on chartering, governance, leadership, human resource management, and advocacy. New this year, membership also provides access to the new Member Portal, a catalog of member-exclusive content, along with promotion of your school's job postings on our new Job Board.
We will work with policymakers at the state and local levels to advocate for policies that support community-based charter schools and work to the benefit of all public education. We'll also support you in building relationships with local, state and federal lawmakers.
We provide resources and peer-to-peer mentoring to schools through our network of experienced school leaders.
Charter schools were created as laboratories of innovation. We seek out opportunities for collaboration with school districts, charter schools, and other educational entities. We welcome opportunities to learn from and exchange ideas with our colleagues.
ORC3S MEMBERSHIP is open to Oregon community-based charter schools that:
are Tax-exempt 501(c)(3) entities
Have a current charter contract with a sponsor under ORS Chapter 338
Primarily serve students in a physical location
